For a ₹10,000 course, the entry plans of Graphy, Exly and TagMango all take about 10% per sale. What separates them is the fixed cost and what is added on top. TagMango's Basic plan has no monthly fee and its 10% includes Indian gateway charges. Exly's Starter plan is free with a 10% commission. Graphy's Launch plan costs ₹24,999 a year plus 10% and a separate gateway charge. Once you sell around 10 courses a month, Exly Pro (₹30,000 a year, 6%) comes out cheapest on published fees.

All prices checked on the official pricing pages on 20 October 2026: graphy.com/pricing, exlyapp.com/pricing, tagmango.com/pricing. These are researched comparisons, not hands-on tests.

Two extra costs to know about. TagMango lists a "Freedom Setup" of ₹24,999 + GST a year to run on your own domain, and its FAQ describes the setup as the base that plans sit on. Exly's creator terms allow an "internet handling fee" of 3% to 5% on domestic transactions and 7% to 10% on international ones, plus GST, which "may be" charged to the buyer or the creator (Exly terms). How that fee relates to the plan commission isn't explained on the pricing page. Ask Exly for a written fee breakdown before you sign up.

Which is cheapest on a single ₹10,000 sale?

To keep it like for like, we add 18% GST to every platform's commission (each one says fees are plus GST or applicable taxes). We add gateway charges only where the platform publishes them separately.

Graphy Launch

  • Commission: ₹1,000 + GST ₹180 = ₹1,180
  • Gateway: ₹180 + GST ₹32.40 = ₹212.40
  • You keep: ₹10,000 − ₹1,392.40 = ₹8,607.60

Exly Starter

  • Commission: ₹1,000 + GST ₹180 = ₹1,180
  • Gateway: not published separately
  • You keep: up to ₹8,820 (before any handling fee that applies to your account)

TagMango Basic

  • Commission (gateway included): ₹1,000 + GST ₹180 = ₹1,180
  • You keep: ₹8,820

Mid-tier plans on the same sale

  • Graphy Grow: ₹750 + ₹135 + ₹212.40 = ₹1,097.40, so you keep ₹8,902.60
  • Exly Pro: ₹600 + ₹108 = ₹708, so you keep ₹9,292
  • TagMango Pro: ₹550 + ₹99 = ₹649, so you keep ₹9,351

On a single sale, TagMango Pro keeps the most. But one sale ignores the fixed fees, and those decide the winner.

Real yearly cost at 10 sales a month

Say you sell 10 courses a month at ₹10,000. That's 120 sales and ₹12 lakh a year. Fixed fees below are shown before GST, except where noted.

PlanPer-sale cost × 120Fixed cost per yearTotal fees per year
Exly Pro₹708 × 120 = ₹84,960₹30,000₹1,14,960
Exly Starter₹1,180 × 120 = ₹1,41,600₹0₹1,41,600 (plus any unpublished gateway/handling fee)
Exly Premium₹354 × 120 = ₹42,480₹1,08,000₹1,50,480
TagMango Pro₹649 × 120 = ₹77,880₹60,000 + ₹24,999 setup₹1,62,879
TagMango Basic₹1,180 × 120 = ₹1,41,600₹24,999 setup₹1,66,599
Graphy Grow₹1,097.40 × 120 = ₹1,31,688₹49,999₹1,81,687
Graphy Launch₹1,392.40 × 120 = ₹1,67,088₹24,999₹1,92,087
Graphy Rise₹802.40 × 120 = ₹96,288₹99,999₹1,96,287

At ₹12 lakh a year, Exly Pro has the lowest published fees, about ₹77,000 less than Graphy Launch. The caveat is that Exly doesn't publish its gateway charges as a separate line. If, say, 2% + GST were added on top, Exly Pro would rise by about ₹28,320 (₹236 × 120) to roughly ₹1,43,280, and still sit near the top. TagMango's monthly fees carry GST too, which adds ₹10,800 a year on Pro if you can't claim it back.

What if I sell less, say 2 courses a month?

At 24 sales (₹2.4 lakh a year), the fixed fees matter most:

  • Exly Starter: ₹1,180 × 24 = ₹28,320
  • TagMango Basic: ₹28,320 + ₹24,999 setup = ₹53,319 (or ₹28,320 if you can run without the custom-domain setup; confirm with TagMango)
  • Exly Pro: ₹708 × 24 + ₹30,000 = ₹46,992
  • Graphy Launch: ₹1,392.40 × 24 + ₹24,999 = ₹58,416.60

For a new creator, a no-fixed-fee plan is cheapest: Exly Starter, or TagMango Basic if you skip the setup. Graphy's lowest entry cost is ₹24,999 a year. It does include a website builder and an Android app, which the others charge for separately (Exly lists its mobile app add-on at ₹60,000 a year).

Where each platform makes sense

Graphy suits creators who want a polished site, an Android app included with paid plans, AI sales and support agents (Grow and above), and a large ecosystem. It costs more on fees. Full breakdown: Graphy pricing in INR explained.

Exly suits coaches who sell a mix of 1-on-1 sessions, workshops and recorded courses, and who can commit to an annual or quarterly plan for the lower commission. Get the handling-fee and gateway terms in writing.

TagMango suits community-led creators. Its gateway-inclusive commission is easy to forecast, and Ultimate removes the commission entirely for high-volume sellers. Remember the ₹24,999 + GST Freedom Setup and the 5% extra on international payments.

Watch out for low-ticket funnels

If your front end is a ₹99 workshop, percentages and floors behave differently. Graphy's ₹10 minimum takes 10.1% of a ₹99 sale before GST and gateway. For tripwire funnels, many Indian creators take payment through a direct gateway and deliver through a cheaper tool. Compare the options in Razorpay vs Cashfree vs Instamojo. For the email side of a low-ticket funnel, see SendFox for creator email lists, and for paid calls, TidyCal for coaches.

FAQ

Which is cheapest for Indian creators: Graphy, Exly or TagMango?

At low volume, Exly Starter (free, 10%) or TagMango Basic (free, 10% including gateway) costs least. At around ₹12 lakh a year in course sales, Exly Pro (₹30,000 a year, 6%) has the lowest published total. Graphy Launch costs more at both levels because of its ₹24,999 annual fee and separate gateway charge.

Does TagMango's commission include payment gateway charges?

Yes, for Indian payments. TagMango's pricing page says the 10%, 5.5% and 3.5% commissions include the Indian payment gateway. International gateway charges of 5% are extra, and all variable charges are exclusive of GST.

What is Exly's commission?

Exly's pricing page lists 10% on Starter, 6% on Pro and 3% on Premium. Its creator terms also mention an internet handling fee of 3% to 5% domestic and 7% to 10% international, plus GST. Ask Exly for a written breakdown for your account.

Is GST charged on platform commissions?

TagMango states its variable charges are exclusive of GST. Graphy's help centre adds 18% GST to its revenue share, and Exly's terms say applicable taxes are charged. If you're GST-registered, you may be able to claim input credit. Confirm with your CA.

Do I need a custom domain fee on TagMango?

TagMango lists a Freedom Setup at ₹24,999 + GST a year to unlock your own branding and custom domain. Its FAQ presents this setup as the base under every plan. Confirm with TagMango whether Basic can run without it.
