Almost every creator eventually hears the same advice: build an email list. Social reach goes up and down. An email list is something you control.

The problem is that email tools often charge by list size, and the bill grows as your list grows. SendFox, which is owned by AppSumo, is sold as a one-time lifetime deal instead. This post explains what the deal includes and, more importantly, whether its limits fit the way you plan to email. We have not used SendFox ourselves. The details below come from the deal page.

What the SendFox deal includes

At the time of writing (20 October 2026), the SendFox deal is $29. Please confirm the current price on the deal page: https://appsumo.com/products/sendfox/

According to the deal page, that includes:

  • 5,000 contacts
  • 300,000 lifetime sends
  • Unlimited automations
  • Unlimited forms and landing pages
  • API access

There is also an add-on called Empire at $10 per month, which removes SendFox branding.

The number that matters: 300,000 lifetime sends

Most people look at the 5,000 contacts figure first. The more important number is the send limit, because it is lifetime, not monthly.

Here is some simple maths:

  • If you email a full list of 5,000 people once, that uses 5,000 sends.
  • 300,000 divided by 5,000 is 60. So you could email a full 5,000-person list about 60 times in total.
  • If you send a weekly newsletter to 5,000 people, that is roughly 60 weeks, a little over a year.
  • If your list is 1,000 people, the same 300,000 sends would cover about 300 full-list emails.

Automations count too. A five-email welcome sequence sent to every new subscriber uses five sends per person.

So the deal is a good fit for a small list, or for someone who emails occasionally. For a growing list that you email often, you will want to check how additional sends or contacts are priced and whether stacking more codes is available. Ask on the deal page before buying.

What you can build with it

Based on the features listed, a creator could use SendFox for:

  • A lead magnet funnel. A landing page or form offers a free resource, and an automation delivers it and sends a short welcome sequence.
  • A newsletter. Regular emails to your list about new content, launches or offers.
  • Launch emails. A short sequence when you open a cohort or release an ebook.

The API access means you can connect it to other tools, for example a course platform or a form builder, though you should check which integrations exist before assuming a connection is available.

The branding question

On the base deal, emails carry SendFox branding. Removing it requires the Empire add-on at $10 per month. For many creators a small footer badge is fine. If you are building a premium brand and care about every detail of how your emails look, factor that monthly cost into your decision, because it means the deal is no longer purely one-time.

How it compares with subscription tools

Common alternatives include Mailchimp and Kit (formerly ConvertKit). We have not verified their current prices, so check their pricing pages directly. In general, subscription email tools charge monthly based on list size and often offer more advanced features like detailed segmentation, visual automation builders and more integrations.

The trade-off looks like this:

  • SendFox is a one-time cost with clear caps on contacts and lifetime sends.
  • Subscription tools cost more over time but scale without a lifetime send cap, and usually offer more advanced features.

If you are just starting a list and want to keep costs low while you find out whether email works for you, a capped one-time deal is reasonable. If email is already your main sales channel, you may outgrow the caps quickly.

Getting SendFox through AppSumo Plus

In our research, AppSumo Plus listed free SendFox and KingSumo Tier 1 among its benefits. If you were already planning to join Plus, that changes the maths. We break this down in AppSumo Plus: is it worth it before Black Friday?

India-specific notes

  • USD pricing. The deal is in dollars. Your bank may add an international transaction markup.
  • Deliverability. Whatever tool you use, emails land better when you set up proper domain authentication. Check SendFox's documentation on how to do this.
  • Language. If you write in Hindi or Hinglish, send yourself test emails first to check how text renders across email apps.
  • Consent. Only email people who opted in. Buying lists or importing contacts who never signed up hurts deliverability and can break the tool's rules.

Who SendFox is for, and who should skip

It suits creators starting a list from scratch, people who email a few times a month, and anyone who wants simple landing pages and a welcome sequence without a monthly bill.

Skip it if you already have a list of several thousand people that you email weekly or more, you rely on advanced segmentation, or you need deep integrations with a specific course platform. In those cases, the lifetime send cap and simpler feature set may hold you back.

FAQ

Does the 300,000 sends limit reset every month? According to the deal page, it is 300,000 lifetime sends, not a monthly allowance. Plan your email frequency with that in mind.

Can I remove the SendFox branding? Yes, through the Empire add-on, listed at $10 per month at the time of writing.

What happens when I hit 5,000 contacts? Check the deal page and SendFox's documentation for how upgrades work. Ask in the deal Q&A before buying if you expect your list to grow past the cap.

Is SendFox included free with AppSumo Plus? Our research of the AppSumo Plus page listed free SendFox and KingSumo Tier 1 as benefits. Confirm the current details on the Plus page.
